Great to meet you!

I help individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected begin to feel more grounded, confident, and in control of their lives. My work often focuses on anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, anger, impulse control, adjustment challenges, and major life transitions. I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical — a place where you can better understand yourself, build healthier coping skills, and reconnect with the person you want to become.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and honest. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as your full self, while also feeling supported in making meaningful changes. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Talk Therapy to help clients understand patterns, regulate emotions, strengthen coping skills, and move toward their goals.

Depending on what feels helpful for you, I may also incorporate mindfulness, therapeutic art activities, role-playing, psychoeducation, music, poetry, or other creative forms of expression. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and guidance. When needed, I can also gently challenge you in the areas where you feel stuck so we can work toward healing, balance, and lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive conversation focused on getting to know you, what has been weighing on you, and what you hope to gain from therapy. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable, identify your goals together, and begin building a plan that feels realistic and meaningful. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, respected, and encouraged that change is possible.
