Great to meet you!

I am Raquel M. Wilson, M.A., CPC, a licensed independent mental health counselor based in Las Vegas, Nevada. I hold a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Psychology from Letourneau University. My professional journey is rooted in a deep passion for human connection, empowering individuals to navigate life’s complex transitions, heal from distress, and reclaim their authentic autonomy.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative, non-judgmental partnership. My clients know me as a grounded, deeply intuitive, and supportive clinician who balances warm empathy with direct, practical guidance. I view you as the ultimate expert on your own life; my role is to provide the specialized framework, safety, and tools to help you uncover your innate resilience.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and tailored entirely to the unique needs of the individual in front of me. Rather than forcing clients into rigid, textbook modalities or cookie-cutter schedules, I blend evidence-based clinical practices with intuitive, collaborative guidance. I focus heavily on helping you identify personal behavioral triggers, recognize how stress manifests in your daily life, and develop autonomous internal coping strategies. My goal is to help you discharge the "static" and expectations of the outside world so you can operate from a place of clear, centered alignment.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is entirely about establishing comfort, safety, and connection. You can expect a warm, collaborative conversation rather than a cold, clinical interrogation.

Together, we will:

Explore Your Current Landscape: We will look closely at what is currently showing up in your life.

Establish Immediate Safety & Support: If you are navigating heavy or overwhelming thoughts, we will gently and proactively collaborate right away on immediate strategies to ensure you leave the room feeling safe and supported.

Set the Roadmap: We will discuss your personal goals and define what real progress looks and feels like for you. Our priority is ensuring you feel a genuine sense of alignment with me as your therapist, leaving the first session with clear next steps and a baseline of validation and relief.
