Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals across a variety of settings, including outpatient programs, non-profits, residential care, private practice, and educational environments. I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Queens College, CUNY, and my Doctorate in Behavioral Health (summa cum laude)with a focus on integrated behavioral health. I take a collaborative, compassionate approach to therapy, helping clients explore how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence overall well-being. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges. Whether you are facing stress, anxiety, life transitions, or seeking personal growth, I work alongside you to develop practical strategies and insights that empower meaningful, lasting change. Therapy is a journey, and I am here to walk with you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered, focusing on working together to set meaningful goals and regularly evaluating progress to ensure the therapy meets your needs. I integrate evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Integrated Behavioral Health, and Crisis Intervention, tailoring strategies to each individual. I take a holistic and flexible approach, recognizing that mental health is shaped by the mind, body, and environment. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel empowered to explore challenges, build resilience, and achieve lasting well-being.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space to share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Together, we will explore your goals for therapy and begin identifying patterns that may be affecting your well-being. I will provide guidance and tools to help you reflect on negative thoughts, develop coping strategies, and start making meaningful changes. My aim is to ensure that from the very first session, you feel heard, understood, and supported in a way that is tailored to your unique needs and experiences.
