Great to meet you!

About Me

Hello, I’m Rasheedah Leonard, LPCC, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio. I believe that seeking therapy is a sign of strength, and I’m committed to creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered.

I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, grief, and trauma. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support as you work toward personal growth, we’ll work together to develop practical tools that fit your unique needs and goals.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. I draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and trauma-informed care. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing, and I strive to meet each client where they are.

In addition to providing therapy, I have extensive experience in behavioral health, care coordination, and working with individuals facing complex mental health needs across outpatient, telehealth, and community settings. This background allows me to understand the many factors that influence emotional well-being while helping clients build realistic, sustainable strategies for lasting change.

Whether you’re managing anxiety, navigating a major life transition, working through relationship challenges, or seeking greater balance and confidence, my goal is to help you feel supported every step of the way. Together, we’ll focus on building resilience, gaining insight, and creating meaningful, lasting progress.

I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and wellness.

My approach to therapy

My role isn’t to tell you what to do. Instead, I work alongside you to help you gain new perspectives

What you can expect from me

What to Expect During Your First Session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. You can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you are encouraged to share your story at your own pace.

While I may not have all the answers, I believe that healing begins with feeling heard and understood. My role is to listen with compassion, gain an understanding of your unique experiences, and work collaboratively with you to identify your goals and develop strategies that support meaningful, lasting change.

Together, we’ll begin exploring the challenges that brought you to therapy while creating a plan that feels realistic, empowering, and tailored to your individual needs. My hope is that you’ll leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
