Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been a therapist dedicated to supporting diverse communities for over a decade. I have experience working with teens, adults, and children. My theoretical orientation is evidence-based practices (ICBT), as an Individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapist.

I strive with kindness, compassion, and respect, and look forward to collaborating on treatment together to achieve motivation and progress.

I have clinical experience in working with anxiety, depression, and trauma. Have worked with underserved populations with a different array of complex trauma, life experiences, homelessness, and substance abuse. I can assist clients in building resiliency, healing, and self-fulfillment.

My approach to therapy

CBT helps you to understand and change negative thoughts and behaviors. It emphasizes the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions, enabling you to cope more effectively and make positive changes in your life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will build our therapeutic relationship and explore challenges that you would like to work on to build trust and safety. I believe in the importance of self-autonomy and will let you set the pace for your self-discovery. I will collaborate with you to alleviate any stressors that are impeding your success. From our very first session and throughout our course together, we will also develop a transition plan, so you are prepared with the necessary interventions to maintain your progress.

My goals for you

I have experience in collaborating with clients who have challenging needs in complex environments, collaborating to help clients meet their identified goals, needs, and build on their current strengths. I am very enthusiastic about helping individuals in a personal and empathic way. I am transparent and can build and maintain healthy relationships. I focus on positive self-talk and psycho-education.
