Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia and South Carolina. I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, and I am also a full-time professor. I specialize in providing affirming and anti-oppressive individual, group, and family therapy addressing issues related to: Black girl identity development (ages 12+); queer folks of Color; college & graduate students of Color; Sista Circle support groups; family therapy with teens; and therapy for therapists.

My approach to therapy

As your counselor, I am your co-pilot on this new journey together. I am going to ride with you, ensuring that you make choices along your path that work best for you. I offer a space for you to be brave, vulnerable, curious, and free to ask the really big questions.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, I will invite you to share about yourself and what you hope to get out of our time together. We will explore your current needs and areas for desired growth and support. Together, we will collaborate to develop a plan to help you meet your needs.
