Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over five years of experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and adults through a variety of life challenges. I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping clients develop practical skills they can use beyond the therapy session. I enjoy building strong therapeutic relationships and taking the time to understand each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

I have experience working with concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation, grief and loss, self-esteem, stress management, school-related challenges, life transitions, and relationship or family concerns. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and build confidence in their ability to cope and grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, strengths-based, and focused on collaboration. I believe clients are the experts on their own lives, and my role is to support, guide, and help them develop the tools needed to reach their goals.

I utilize approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and trauma-informed care. I use CBT to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and learn how to challenge unhelpful patterns. For example, a client experiencing anxiety may learn to identify negative thought patterns, explore how those thoughts impact their emotions and behaviors, and develop healthier ways to respond.

I also incorporate creative and practical interventions when appropriate, including mindfulness techniques, coping skills, play-based interventions, and other activities that help clients actively practice skills during sessions. I believe therapy is not just about talking about challenges, but also about learning and applying strategies that support long-term growth.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable while beginning to understand what brought you to therapy and what you hope to accomplish. We will spend time building rapport, discussing your background and experiences, exploring current challenges, and identifying goals for therapy.

I will ask questions to better understand your history, strengths, coping strategies, and areas where you would like support. This session is also an opportunity for you to learn more about my approach and determine whether we feel like a good therapeutic fit.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and we will work together to create a plan that aligns with your needs. My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling supported, understood, and equipped with tools that can help you navigate challenges in your everyday life.
