Great to meet you!

I'm Raven Jackson, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Jacksonville, FL. I earned my Master's of Education from Old Dominion University in Virginia, and my professional experience spans outpatient and private practice settings. Many of my clients come to me carrying something heavy they've been pushing down for too long, anything from the daily strain of adjusting to a hard life change to the deeper imprint of post-traumatic stress. I specialize in helping clients understand the mind-body connection and how it can become a real source of healing.

My approach to therapy

I see healing as a process of tending to what's been buried, overgrown, or overlooked. My approach blends trauma-informed therapy, nervous system care, mind-body connection, and spiritual reflection, all in service of helping you reconnect with your truth, regulate your emotions, and feel more at home in yourself. Therapy with me isn't about fixing what's broken. It's about uncovering what was already there and creating room for it to grow.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask open, insightful questions to understand who you are, what brought you in, and what you're hoping to feel different. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to. I like to get to the root of what's really going on, because surface-level fixes don't tend to create the kind of meaningful, sustainable change my clients are looking for. You'll get to ask me anything too: how I work, what to expect, and whether we feel like the right fit going forward.
