Great to meet you!

You’ve been carrying a lot. Maybe it’s anxiety that won’t quiet down, grief that hasn’t had space to land, or trauma you’ve held on your own for too long. You might feel pressure to hold everything together for everyone else, while quietly wondering who’s holding it for you. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, loss, and relationship stress. After nearly two decades in mental health, hospice, and medical social work, I bring deep experience sitting with people in some of life’s hardest moments, and I’m here to help you feel less alone and more supported.

My approach to therapy

In our sessions, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I primarily use CBT, which means we’ll look at the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and gently work to shift what’s keeping you stuck. I hold that framework lightly—therapy with me is collaborative, and you lead while I follow and guide. I also co-authored a therapeutic coloring book that uses art to explore emotions, so if creativity feels like a better fit than traditional talk therapy (or a helpful complement to it), we’ll make space for that too.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply about getting to know each other. I’ll ask what’s bringing you in, what matters most to you, and what you’re hoping therapy will feel like. If you’re feeling nervous, that’s completely normal. By the end of our first conversation, you’ll have a clear sense of my style and whether it feels like a good fit for you—no pressure and no commitment beyond that. If you’re ready to stop holding all of this alone, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
