Great to meet you!

I have always believed that healthy interpersonal communication is one of the most valuable resources that we have at our disposal. In counseling, as in life, I aim to cultivate a practice of empathetic wellness education and responsive communication across all intersections of identity. My goal as a clinician is to aid you in exploring your authentic self by confronting the patterns that keep you stuck, both interpersonally and in your interactions with the world at large. I enjoy working with relationships, familial trauma and conflict, anxiety, and identity development among women, people of color and LGBTQ+ populations.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative approach to counseling, and am concerned largely with interpersonal dynamics and the ways that they shape our personal development and overall well-being. I apply an abolitionist perspective to both counseling and life in general, and as such seek to prioritize community and accessibility in my practice. My clinical approach is person-centered and invested in curiosity and compassion. I hope to work together with you to build a greater sense of mind-body understanding, relational efficacy, and overall self-trust.

What you can expect from me

In a first session with me, you can expect to be met with a warm and open audience, who is eager to learn about your goals, challenges, and fears as relates to therapy and life in general. Together, we will collaborate to identify how best to address your needs and begin to nurture a therapeutic relationship that allows you to feel supported, respected, and understood.
