Great to meet you!

Hi there! I am glad you are here, you have taken the first step in your healing journey. My name is Raven Winding. I am a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently practicing in the State of Louisiana. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2016. I went on to earn my Master of Social Work degree from Louisiana State University in 2018. Since then, I have worked in a variety of settings, providing therapeutic and restorative services to clients in elementary schools, psychiatric facilities, hospitals, and colleges/universities." I bring a broad perspective and a deep commitment to helping individuals heal, grow, and thrive.

My approach to therapy

I engage my clients in a client-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy, grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and empowerment. I integrate an eclectic approach to therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, trauma-informed care, and restorative practices to support healing and growth. I prioritize creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected, recognizing the unique needs and resilience of each individual. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, I aim to foster emotional insight, build coping skills, and encourage holistic well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to gain greater self-awareness, improved emotional regulation, and strategies to navigate stress, trauma, or interpersonal challenges. Each session is a safe space for reflection, healing, and growth, where clients feel heard and validated. Through our work together, they often leave with a deeper understanding of their strengths, clearer personal goals, and actionable steps toward mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
