I have 12+ years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults! I received my Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology from Texas Lutheran University and my Master of Social Work from Texas State University. I work well with all populations, yet I have a niche for clients who feel therapy is not helpful or are skeptical about change. I am energetic and empathic and will challenge you to see your strengths and support you as you struggle to find your way.
Helping individuals find their voice and empowering them to be better and stronger each day is what keeps me in this profession. The majority of the issues I have worked with include substance use/abuse, oppositional defiant behaviors, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, suicide ideation, trauma, self-esteem, and parenting concerns. I am strength and solution-focused in my therapeutic approach and I am authentic in my responses.
My goal is to create a non-judgmental, safe space for you where you feel heard, validated, and most importantly supported. We will laugh, we may cry, we will keep it real and process whatever concerns you want to bring forward.
