Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Rawn, a licensed professional counselor and experienced therapist who works primarily with adolescents, young adults, and families. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and questions about school, college, and career direction. My approach is collaborative and supportive—I want you to feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself while we work together toward meaningful change. I also bring years of experience in counseling, education, and mental health research to help clients develop practical strategies that fit their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, affirming, and client-centered. I believe you are the expert on your own life, so you’re in the driver’s seat while we work together to better understand what you’re experiencing and identify solutions that feel right for you. I bring an open-minded, nonjudgmental perspective to our work and tailor therapy to your goals, needs, and experiences. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, feel genuinely heard, and can make meaningful progress at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, build rapport, and begin creating a comfortable and trusting therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, your goals, and some of your background as we complete the intake process. I’ll also answer any questions you have about therapy and how we can work together. Most importantly, there’s no pressure to have everything figured out on day one—we’ll take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you and begin identifying ways therapy can be helpful.
