Great to meet you!

My clinical practice is grounded in a person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach. I work collaboratively with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, low self-esteem, and difficulty managing emotions or adjusting to significant changes.

My background includes extensive experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, care coordination, treatment planning, and working with individuals with complex mental health needs. I place a strong emphasis on creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns while also working toward practical and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused interventions, supportive therapy, and other evidence-based strategies tailored to each client's needs and goals. I am especially interested in helping clients better understand patterns that contribute to distress, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation, navigate interpersonal challenges, and build greater confidence and independence. I value a collaborative approach to treatment and believe therapy is most effective when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in setting the direction of their care.

What you can expect from me

During your first visit, my goal is to create a comfortable and supportive space where we can begin getting to know one another and understand what brought you to therapy. We will discuss the concerns you would like help with, how they have been affecting your daily life, and what you hope to gain from treatment.

I may ask about your current symptoms, relationships, stressors, coping strategies, previous treatment experiences, and other relevant parts of your history. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and share what you are looking for in a therapist.

We will begin identifying your strengths, priorities, and treatment goals together. There is no expectation that you have everything figured out before starting therapy. The first session is about building trust, understanding your needs, and developing a plan for how we can work together moving forward.
