Raya is a NY State licensed psychotherapist, board-certified national counselor and board-certified clinical mental health counselor, certified rape crisis and domestic violence counselor, and certified professional coach based in New York City with advanced training in trauma treatment, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and professional coaching. She has worked in hospitals; schools and universities; private practice; and non-profits.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Raya works with adolescents and adults of all ages and utilizes an integrative approach to treatment. She helps clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, career transitions, cultural identity, grief, family conflicts, relationships and dating. She cultivates a non-judgmental environment of safety, warmth, authenticity and trust, in which honest self-exploration can occur.
