Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Rayane Silva, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, emotional challenges, behavioral changes, and life transitions.

My professional background includes children’s and adult's mental health, school-based services, social work, and hospital settings. These experiences have shaped my understanding of how family, school, culture, relationships, and everyday stress can affect emotional well-being.

Whether you’re seeking support for your child or yourself, I offer a compassionate space to feel heard and work toward meaningful goals. I value culturally responsive care and offer tele-health services in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, when clinically appropriate.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should meet you where you are. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and flexible, with treatment tailored to your needs, strengths, preferences, and stage of life. I draw on therapeutic approaches that fit your situation and adjust our work as we learn what is most helpful for you.

Together, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy, identify meaningful goals, and develop practical tools to manage emotions, navigate challenges, and build confidence. When working with children and adolescents, I also value caregiver involvement while respecting each young person’s need for trust and privacy.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to get to know one another and begin building trust. I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and respected.

We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll explain confidentiality and its limits, describe how sessions work, and answer your questions. If you’re seeking care for your child, we’ll also discuss their needs and your role in supporting treatment.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. You can share at a pace that feels comfortable, and together we’ll begin identifying goals and next steps.
