Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Raymond. I’m a therapist, a dad to three daughters, a husband of almost 24 years, a college instructor, and the proud owner of a mini-farm filled with goats, chickens, and dogs. All of these parts of my life shape how I show up in the therapy room: grounded, down-to-earth, and genuinely invested in people.

I’ve spent years working with adolescents, young adults, and individuals navigating trauma, stress, and substance use. Clients describe me as warm, affirming, and easy to talk to. My goal is always to meet you where you are and build a space where you feel safe enough to be honest and supported enough to grow.

My approach to therapy

My style is eclectic because people are different, and what works for one person might not work for another. I partner with you to figure out what feels helpful, what gets in the way, and what direction you want to move in. I take a participatory, solution-focused, and holistic approach, believing that therapy works best when we work together and adapt the process to your needs.

Whether you are an adolescent working through emotions or identity, or an adult healing from trauma or stress, I want our time to feel collaborative, practical, and empowering.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about connection. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, building rapport, and talking about what brings you in. I’ll ask what you want me to know about you, what feels most important right now, and how you hope therapy can help. There is no pressure to have everything figured out; we go at your pace.

By the end of the session, my hope is that you feel understood, comfortable, and ready to begin shaping a plan that fits who you are and where you want to go.
