Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in South Pasadena, California. I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I've been working with clients since 2004 and have been a licensed clinician since 2012. I work with individual adults and couples. My specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, anger issues, relationship/communication problems, self-esteem problems, creative struggles. I utilize CBT, humanistic therapy, and EMDR techniques.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to get to know my clients very well and then to help them get to know themselves very well: to help them determine what they truly want -- not what they think they should want -- for their lives, for their relationships, and for their careers. We then work together to cultivate the positive cognitions, minimize the negative thoughts, and to develop the tools and strategies that will help them achieve their goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will welcome the client into my quiet, comfortable office where I will tell the client a little about myself, ask them to tell me about themselves, talk about why the client is coming to therapy, and their discuss their hopes and goals for the process.
