Great to meet you!

I'm a late in life therapist. My first career was in the U.S. Army. I'm a combat veteran, single mother of 3 kiddos, disability rights advocate, and bourbon drinker. I'm a straight shooter which seems to contrast with my zany and sometimes bubbly personality but I believe there's no one way towards healing. I use a collective approach to help you get headed in the direction you feel is right for you.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe there's no one way towards healing. I use a collective approach to help you get headed in the direction you feel is right for you. That may look like talking things out and in some sessions that may look like somatically experiencing your emotions through felt bodily senses and intuition. I incorporate neurofeedback in my practice for clients looking for a talk and medication free approach to feeling better.

What you can expect from our first session

The goal is always to get you from "here" at the beginning of our sessions to "there" which is wherever we end that is in the step towards the direction of your healing journey. That journey isn't linear and often takes detours and includes rerouting past areas you've probably already "processed." But the when it is all said and done, you can end a session knowing you did the work that only you can do for your mental wellness.
