Great to meet you!

Some of my greatest strengths are that I am passionate, experienced and knowledgeable about my work as a Psychotherapist. What makes me unique in delivering excellent psychotherapy services is my varied life experiences, familiarity with many cultures, and my ability to balance objectivity and compassion in my practice.

My personal, professional, and cultural background is vast and varied. I immigrated to the United States as a child and grew up in Orange County. I speak 3 languages (Dari, Farsi, English) and familiar with 2 more (Urdu/Hindi and Spanish). I chose to study Psychology when deciding on a college major in high school and have always been someone friends have come to for a listening ear and advice. I am passionate about education and psychology. Being of service to others is my life purpose. My approach to therapy is holistic and client-centered. I truly believe in the strength of the individual to heal and grow. I endeavor to be a vehicle in my client's journey to healing, growth, and enlightenment. Aside from my higher education and life experiences, I believe in practicing what I preach. My personal goal is to be my best authentic self in my personal and professional life.

When I'm not in session with clients, I usually spend time in nature or with family and friends. I enjoy activities such as hiking, archery, billiards, comedy, music, reading for knowledge, and traveling to new destinations.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic and client-centered. I believe it's important to consider the possible biological, psychological, and social contributors to mental health issues.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to have a clear understanding of my approach to therapy, how we can establish a collaborative relationship in accomplishing their goals in therapy, and the benefits, risks, and limitations of psychotherapy.
