Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel safe enough to be your authentic self.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing telehealth therapy to clients throughout California and South Carolina. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University and have experience working in community mental health, outpatient counseling, and private practice.

I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, grief, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and emotional overwhelm. I am especially passionate about providing culturally responsive care and supporting individuals from underserved and underrepresented communities. Whether you're feeling stuck, burned out, or simply ready for change, we'll work together to help you move toward the life you want to live.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work alongside you to better understand your experiences, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop effective tools for lasting change.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and Humanistic Therapy. When appropriate and desired, I also welcome the integration of faith into therapy while respecting each client's personal beliefs and values.

Together we'll focus on building emotional resilience, strengthening relationships, improving coping skills, and creating realistic goals that support long-term growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and what you hope to accomplish. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences while creating a comfortable space where you can share at your own pace.

By the end of our first session, you'll have a better understanding of how we'll work together, begin identifying meaningful treatment goals, and leave with a clear direction for moving forward. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful.
