Great to meet you!

I'm Reagan, and I'm a therapist who uses creative approaches to help people overcome problems with mood, anxiety, trauma, and obsessive thinking. I empower my clients using exposure therapy and insight. That means we don't just talk about things -- we also do things that help you feel better. That's useful for people who feel "stuck" and are struggling to make changes. You can build the skills you need to handle both the cognitive and behavioral components of anxious patterns.

I focus on helping people overcome PTSD, OCD, mood disorders, perfectionism, intrusive thoughts, dissociation, self-harming behavior, and BFRB like picking and pulling.

I'm especially helpful for people who feel cut off from their body or have trouble figuring out their feelings. Other people I often work with are people with ADHD and autism, LGBT+ people, college and grad students, people in burnout, healthcare workers, people with body image concerns, and geeks of all varieties.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who trained in Philadelphia and now lives in South Jersey. I'm into hiking, history, art, and plants.

My approach to therapy

I believe that my clients can be brave and do difficult things even while feeling scared or anxious. Exposure and insight-focused therapies strengthen our sense of self while helping us make peace with uncomfortable feelings. Sessions with me tend to feel active, challenging, and motivating.

These are some of the therapeutic approaches I use:

  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP, ExRP)
  • Inference-based CBT (I-CBT)
  • Creative experiential therapies including Narrative, Bibliotherapy, and Psychodrama
  • Mindfulness skills training related to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

What you can expect from me

I want my clients to feel understood and respected. I use evidence-informed cognitive behavioral interventions, so I usually help clients plan an activity to try between sessions. Every session is different, so clients can expect me to be flexible while keeping a focus on the big picture.
