Great to meet you!

You deserve a therapist who knows the terrain. I’ve been where you are. I have experienced mental health from every angle—as someone who has done the deep personal work, as someone who has navigated the pain of losing loved ones to suicide, and now as a therapist. When I suggest a tool or a shift in perspective, it’s because I practice what I preach. I know the freedom that comes from setting boundaries and building a life you truly love, and I want that same transformation for you.

A perspective shaped by the world: Growing up with over 30 exchange students from around the globe taught me early on that everyone’s "normal" looks different. This curiosity follows me outside the office, too. This love for travel and culture keeps my mind open and my spirit curious—traits I bring into every session we share.

My approach to therapy

Meeting you where you are: Your background, your culture, and your unique lived experiences are the most important parts of our work together. In our sessions, you will find a warm, non-judgmental space where you are met exactly where you are today. You can expect to be challenged to see things in a new light, but you are always the driver of your own change.

Specialized, efficient relief. I specialize in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) because I want you to find relief as efficiently as possible. Unlike traditional talk therapy that can take years to reach a breakthrough, ART works directly with how your brain stores stressful images. Through this approach, we can help you:

  • Keep the Knowledge, Lose the Pain: Change how your body reacts to distressing memories so they no longer trigger "fight or flight."
  • Find Closure Faster: Experience significant shifts in just a few sessions.
  • Restore Your Calm: Replace intrusive images with positive ones so you can move forward with peace.

What you can expect from me

A space where you are truly seen: Taking the first step—making that phone call or walking through the door for your first session—requires immense courage. You might be feeling the weight of the "work" ahead, and that’s okay. Whether you are navigating your very first appointment or looking for that life-altering realization in your 50th, you won't be walking that path alone.

Honoring your story: In our first meeting, we begin the process of moving at your pace. We will discuss what has been "looping" in your mind and identify the patterns—whether anxiety, trauma, stress, or anything else—that feel like a weight you can't budge. You provide the courage to show up, and I provide the tools to help you cross the finish line. We will work together to ensure you feel heard, safe, and ready to become the person you want to be.
