Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm glad you're here. Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially when you're trying to manage stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or major life changes while still showing up for everyone around you. With more than two decades of experience and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I help adults, adolescents, and children work through the difficulties that may be keeping them from feeling confident, connected, and in control. I have a special interest in supporting children and teens, and I also enjoy working with women navigating life's transitions and emotional challenges. I work with concerns including anxiety, ADHD, depression, panic disorders, grief and loss, trauma, PTSD, maternal mental health concerns, cultural and ethnic issues, family conflict, and relationship difficulties. My goal is to provide practical support and a space where you can better understand yourself, strengthen your coping skills, and create meaningful change that carries into everyday life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and solution oriented. I believe every person already possesses strengths that can be built upon, and I work alongside clients to help them gain insight, develop practical skills, and move toward the life they want to create. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Therapy, Behavior Modification, Bowen Family Systems Therapy, Family Therapy, and Art Therapy to tailor treatment to each person's unique needs. Together, we'll explore patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges while developing tools that promote emotional wellness and resilience. Sessions move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, with a focus on helping you feel more empowered, confident, and equipped to navigate life's ups and downs. My role is to listen, encourage, and challenge you when needed while creating a supportive environment where lasting growth can occur.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, collaborative, and judgment-free space where you can speak openly and honestly about what you're experiencing. I believe therapy should feel supportive while also providing practical tools that help you move forward with greater confidence and clarity. Together, we'll work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and develop strategies that support your emotional well-being. Whether you're navigating anxiety, ADHD, grief, family stress, depression, trauma, or major life changes, my goal is to help you feel more empowered, supported, and in control. I want you to leave therapy with a deeper understanding of yourself and the confidence to handle challenges with greater resilience and hope.
