Great to meet you!

I’m Rebeca Schwambach, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that therapy should feel like a place where you can truly be yourself. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and cared for.

I work with adults and older adults who may be going through grief and loss, relationship difficulties, divorce or separation, loneliness, family concerns, life transitions, midlife changes, or the emotional challenges that can come with aging. I understand that these seasons of life can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next.

My background in clinical social work and healthcare has allowed me to support people through some of life’s most vulnerable moments. I bring compassion, patience, and genuine care into my work, while also helping you recognize your strengths and find a path forward that feels meaningful to you.

Reaching out for support can feel difficult, especially when you’ve been carrying so much on your own. You don’t have to know exactly what to say or where to begin. Come as you are, and we’ll start there. Together, we can make space for what you’re feeling, reconnect with your strengths, and gently work toward a life that feels more peaceful, connected, and meaningful.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and client-centered, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and Structural Family Therapy. I tailor these approaches to each client’s individual needs, helping them develop insight, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll take the time to get to know you, understand what you’ve been experiencing, and explore what you would like to change or better understand.

You can share at a pace that feels comfortable, in a warm, caring, and respectful environment.

Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you and begin developing meaningful goals for therapy. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling heard, supported, and knowing that you are not alone in what you’re going through.
