Great to meet you!

¡Hola y bienvenidos! I'm Rebeca Vargas, a Licensed Professional Counselor offering telehealth services to individuals aged 15 and above, as well as parents with children ages 3-7. I graduated with my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M International University. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and I'm passionate about helping people navigate through life challenges.

My focus is on providing support to individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and life adjustments, of all ages. Additionally, I specialize in offering counseling services to college students, helping them navigate academic and personal challenges. I also, bring extensive expertise on working with children and their caregivers.

My approach to therapy

In my practice, I emphasize creating a compassionate and inclusive space where clients feel heard and understood. Whether you're an individual seeking help or a parent looking for support for your child, I'm here to assist you on your journey toward improved mental well-being.

Pause for a moment and recognize that by taking this initial step, you've embarked on a journey to enhance your mental health. Remember, you're not alone in this process, and I'm here to offer support and guidance as we navigate this journey together.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, our main goal is to get to know each other and start building a trusting and collaborative relationship. We will first spend some time talking about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any specific goals or expectations you may have. This is will always be your time to express yourself, there's no judgment here. You're in control of what you choose to share, and we'll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
