Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist who specializes in anxiety depression and behavioral addictions such as gambling, gaming, shopping, and technology use. I became an LCSW because, quite simply, I love people and have the deepest respect for all living things. I have a masters in Social work and background in Psychology, Sociology and Education. I believe that every individual has innate strengths and my goal is to help you tap into yours. Whether you are in a difficult life transition, navigating healthy relationships, or looking to understand yourself more deeply, I am here to empower you so that you can move from feeling "stuck" to feeling capable.

Outside of the therapy room, I am a proud mom and dedicated reader. As someone who identifies as a lifelong learner, I will bring curiosity and warmth to every session. In addition to my private practice, I am a crisis clinician. This background has sharpened my ability to remain grounded, and provide a safe, stable space even when a situation may feel the most chaotic.

My approach to therapy

I don't just listen to problems, I listen for solutions. My approach is deeply informed by my fascination with psychology, neuroscience, and sociology. In our sessions you can expect a warm, collaborative environment where we combine empathy with evidence based practices to create real change.

Action and Change: I use MI (Motivational interviewing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to explore and help you shift from "stuck" patterns to actions that are aligned with your values.

Emotion regulation skills: Drawing from my crisis background I incorporate DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and Mindfulness to help you stay grounded and manage intense emotions.

Compassion and connection: I practice Humanistic therapy and CFT (Compassion focused therapy), ensuring that our work is always rooted in kindness, empowerment, and respect for you and your individual journey.

What you can expect from me

My style is a blend of structure and open space. I provide the guidance and clinical tools to keep us moving towards your goals, while leaving plenty of room for you to share what is on your mind and heart. You can expect an environment that is compassionate, non-judgmental and collaborative.
