Great to meet you!

Great to Meet You!

As a clinically licensed therapist, I believe our mental health is just as important as our physical health, When we are sick or hurt, we seek remedy and relief without a second thought or shame. Seeking help for our mental health should be the same, however, it is often a difficult decision never made.

If you are here, Welcome and Congratulations, for taking a scary step. I am truly happy you are here and hope I can help you on your healing journey. I have been practicing for 18 years, with the majority of those years working with children and adolescents. My focus for many years was working with children/adolescents that had experienced severe abuse and neglect. The last few years my focus has shifted to not only include children/adolescents, but also adults struggling with most commonly ADHD, anxiety, and depression.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has a unique story. As well as everyone has had bad days. It is important to me that my clients know they are coming into a safe space with no judgment and they are seen as themselves. Once we decide to work together, we will work collaboratively in your healing journey. It is extremely important to me that we communicate openly and you feel seen and heard. I'll be there to listen to you, and support you, but also to challenge you to be a better version of you.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an into session, where you will have the chance to share what brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve in our time together. It is always my goals to create an environment that is welcoming and warm, that allows you to feel comfortable and especially safe to be vulnerable with me, whether meeting virtually or in-person. From there when we meet, we will work together to accomplish your goals.
