Great to meet you!

Accepting patients in California & Arizona for medication management!

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide holistic care for neurodivergent individuals with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, OCD, PTSD and trauma, depression, anxiety, panic disorders, mood disorders, and bipolar conditions. My practice is built on the understanding that neurodivergent mental health exists within the context of your entire life experience, relationships, and the challenges of navigating a neurotypical world.

What distinguishes my approach is my commitment to understanding not just your symptoms, but how neurodivergence has shaped your life experiences. I recognize that conditions like ADHD, autism, and OCD don't exist in isolation—they interact with your trauma history, social experiences, educational background, and personal relationships in unique ways that require individualized treatment approaches.

My treatment philosophy emphasizes both celebrating neurodivergent strengths and addressing genuine challenges. I believe in helping you understand your brain, develop strategies that work with your neurotype, and process any difficult experiences you've had as a neurodivergent person in a world that often doesn't accommodate differences. Whether you're seeking diagnosis, managing multiple conditions, or working through trauma related to your neurodivergent experiences, I provide care that honors all aspects of who you are.

I'm committed to creating a therapeutic partnership where you feel genuinely understood and accepted. Together, we'll work toward building resilience, developing effective strategies, and creating a fulfilling life that celebrates your authentic neurodivergent self. I offer flexible appointment scheduling and telehealth services to accommodate the diverse needs and sensory preferences of neurodivergent individuals.

My approach to therapy

I understand that pursuing mental health care requires real courage, and I honor that courage by providing exceptional, compassionate treatment. I am committed to ensuring every person receives dignified care, genuine listening, and interventions tailored specifically to their individual needs.

When you work with me, you are choosing a provider who brings empathy, clinical expertise, and true dedication to your wellness. I place great emphasis on cultivating meaningful relationships, because trust and connection are essential to achieving positive outcomes. I want you feeling entirely comfortable being candid about your symptoms, concerns, and how medications are affecting you.

I perform a thorough evaluation of your mental health background, current symptoms, treatment goals, and prior medication experiences—then explain your options clearly, sharing the reasoning behind my recommendations, how medications function, and what side effects you may encounter. I am a strong advocate for collaborative decision-making, ensuring your preferences remain at the heart of every choice we navigate together.

I am devoted to staying actively engaged—acknowledging your progress, responding to challenges as they emerge, and making thoughtful adjustments when the situation calls for it. Beyond medication, I am genuinely curious about your sleep quality, stress levels, coping strategies, and relationship supports. I stay accessible between appointments to offer ongoing guidance and address concerns whenever they arise.

My goal is helping you ease symptoms, regain stability, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and authentically yours. Your wellness is my priority, and I am sincerely honored to play a role in your healing. I look forward to being a trusted partner on your path toward lasting wellbeing. Every step you take toward stronger mental health reflects your resilience, and I am privileged to walk beside you through each one.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is designed to be thorough, compassionate, and empowering. I will greet you with genuine warmth and foster a setting where you can share openly about your struggles without any fear of judgment.

We will explore what brought you here, the specific mental health challenges you are facing and how they are affecting your daily life. We will review your psychiatric history, examining when symptoms first appeared, how they have progressed, and what treatment approaches you have previously pursued. I will ask about medications you have tried, including names, dosages, duration, and any benefits or adverse reactions you observed.

We will also address your overall health, active prescriptions, family psychiatric background, and relevant lifestyle factors. The more thoroughly I understand your history, the more precisely I can develop a treatment approach that authentically fits your needs.

When discussing medication options, I emphasize education and collaborative decision-making. I will present available treatments, how they function, anticipated advantages, possible side effects, and realistic timelines, providing you with the understanding necessary to make confident decisions. We will address any concerns with honesty, whether they involve adverse effects, long-term use, or overall effectiveness, delivering candid, evidence-based responses alongside heartfelt sensitivity.

We will explore holistic strategies, including lifestyle modifications and supportive resources that complement medication management. By the close of our visit, you will possess a personalized treatment plan, clearly outlined next steps, contact information for urgent matters, and a follow-up appointment already scheduled.

Our partnership is built on trust, respect, and genuine hope. Meaningful progress is entirely within reach, and I am devoted to standing beside you through every challenge and celebrating every milestone along the way.
