Hello! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in the southeast United States. I received my Masters from Asbury Seminary and my Bachelors from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and have been practicing in the mental health world for 11 years. I have worked in several settings from crisis work with kids and adolescents to individual work with adults to couples counseling.
I'm a patient therapist who is willing to go at your speed. Your goals are my goals, and I'm not afraid to push when the time is right to get you to where you've decided you want to go. I'm always learning and passing that along to my clients. I have been trained in models such as EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, Trust Based Relational Intervention, and other trauma informed modalities.
I love working with adults who want more for themselves, their relationships, their families, and more. I love getting to be a partner for clients to discover what it is that brings them life and allows them to live the full lives they were created to live. I enjoy working with clients to understand why they do what they do. My goal is for clients to walk away from sessions with a better understanding of themselves and others AND to feel empowered to make choices about their life.
