Great to meet you!

Hi there! I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) licensed in New Jersey. I specialize in providing compassionate psychiatric evaluations and supportive medication management for children, high schoolers, college kids and adults navigating social situations, academic stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and major life transitions.

Life can feel like an intense pressure cooker. Whether you or your child is feeling completely overwhelmed by school, friends, struggling to focus, or feeling stuck emotionally, I am here to help them regain clarity and confidence. My goal is to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and relatable, down-to-earth support so that you feel truly heard—not just managed.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is patient-centered, collaborative, and entirely non-judgmental. I view mental health through a holistic lens, meaning I don't just look at symptoms; I look at sleep, lifestyle, school dynamics, and overall physical health.

When it comes to medication management, I practice with a conservative, evidence-based mindset. I believe medication is an excellent tool when needed, but it works best when paired with lifestyle strategies and supportive therapy. For high schoolers, I place an emphasis on autonomy—I treat them as an active partner in their own care. I also collaborate closely with parents to build a supportive home team, while strictly maintaining the teen's trust and confidential safe space.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will focus strictly on building trust and lowering anxiety. For children and teens, I will meet with parents to review past psychiatry and medical history, school functioning, and primary concerns. I will then spend one-on-one time with your child to let them share their perspective of how they are feeling.

We will end the session altogether by collectively designing a clear, customized treatment roadmap. There are no surprises —we will discuss clinical impressions, talk openly about the risks and benefits of any medication options, and set 2–3 practical goals for school and home life. You will leave the very first session with a concrete plan moving forward.
