Great to meet you!

Hello, I am Rebecca L. Cohen, EdD, LPC and I love helping people reach their goals and find solutions to issues in their lives. I have worked with children, teens and adults all with a variety of clinical and life management issues in my career. I believe in meeting clients where they are and assisting them in creating meaningful goals and paths to manage presenting issues. Please note that if you are seeking in person sessions that I am only in office Monday and Tuesday afternoons and all day on Thursdays. Any other time is telehealth only at this time.

My approach to therapy

I believe in working to meet your needs. I utilize techniques from CBT, DBT, Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, and others. I work to create an environment which is open, trusting, and safe in which clients can address their issues and work to find stability.

What you can expect from me

I strive to help clients have meaningful techniques and information to take them from session to session. I is important to me to help clients have insights to work on and /or information (or homework) to help them keep making progress even when they are not in a therapy session.
