Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Rebecca Cole, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 16 years of experience supporting adults and seniors through life's challenges. If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, struggling in your relationships, or simply exhausted from trying to keep it all together, you're not alone. Therapy offers a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin making sense of what you're carrying. Together, we'll work toward healing, clarity, and a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

I've spent my career helping people navigate life's most difficult seasons with compassion, honesty, and practical support. I specialize in anxiety, depression, stress management, grief, relationship challenges, maternal mental health, and life transitions. Whether you're facing a recent change or have been carrying emotional pain for years, I'm here to help you move forward with greater confidence and resilience.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation where you don't have to pretend everything is okay. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to who you are, not just the challenges you're facing. I want you to feel comfortable showing up as your authentic self, knowing you'll be met with curiosity, compassion, and respect rather than judgment.

I draw from Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Humanistic Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to help you better understand your experiences while building practical tools you can use outside of our sessions. Together, we'll identify what's working, gently explore what's keeping you stuck, and focus on creating meaningful, sustainable change. Every person has a unique story, and we'll build a therapeutic approach that reflects your values, strengths, and goals.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can bring up uncertainty, and that's completely normal. You may wonder if you'll know what to say or whether someone will truly understand what you're experiencing. My goal is to create an environment where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to be vulnerable, and empowered enough to grow.

Our sessions are built on trust, collaboration, and genuine connection. Some days we'll focus on processing difficult emotions, while other days we'll develop practical strategies to help you navigate everyday challenges with greater confidence. Along the way, you'll gain deeper insight into yourself, strengthen your coping skills, and begin recognizing patterns that no longer serve you. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling lighter, more understood, and more equipped to handle whatever life brings your way.
