Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than twenty years of experience, and I bring both clinical depth and genuine personal understanding to this work. I have lived through the seasons of life that many of my clients are navigating. I know those moments where you know something needs to change but cannot quite figure out why the same patterns keep returning, no matter how hard you work or how much you already know about yourself.

I work from a trauma-informed, nervous system-centered framework, which means I understand that what looks like resistance or self-sabotage is almost always the body doing exactly what it learned to do to keep you safe. There is no judgment here, only curiosity, compassion, and a genuine belief in your capacity to change.

I especially love working with women in midlife and older adolescent females. I get it. I have been there. And I know that the right support, at the right level, can make all the difference.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, drawing on Adlerian theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused practices as my clinical foundation, woven together with somatic and nervous system-centered work rooted in Polyvagal Theory and my certification as a Neuro-Identity Evolution® Practitioner.

I help clients access change at the level where their patterns actually live, not just in their thinking, but in their bodies, their beliefs, and the adaptive behaviors they developed long before they had the capacity to question them.

I believe that lasting change requires working with the whole person. We cannot think our way out of patterns that live in the body, we have to feel safe enough to shift them. That means our work together will always begin with creating a genuine felt sense of safety, and will move at a pace that honors your nervous system rather than pushing against it.

My work is trauma-informed, relational, and practical. You will leave sessions with both insight and tools you can use immediately.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to feel welcomed, heard, and at ease from the moment we begin. My approach is warm, calm, and entirely non-judgmental, this is a space where there is no wrong answer and no version of you that is too much or not enough.

In our first session, we will spend time getting to know one another. I want to understand not just what brings you in, but who you are, what you have already tried, and what you are hoping for. I will ask questions, but I will also listen, really listen, in a way that may feel different from what you have experienced before.

You will not leave feeling like you just completed an intake form. You will leave feeling like you have been truly seen, with a beginning sense of what our work together might look like and what is possible for you.

For my women clients in midlife especially, I want you to know that I understand this season from the inside. I have sat in that same quiet wondering: Why do I keep ending up here? Why isn't everything I've done enough? You are not broken. You are not behind. You are exactly where you need to be to begin something different.
