Great to meet you!

Maybe you have been trying to hold everything together while quietly feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what needs to change. Anxiety may be making it difficult to quiet your mind, grief or loss may have changed how you move through the world, or family and relationship concerns may leave you feeling stuck in patterns you do not know how to break. You may simply know that you want to feel more like yourself again. I work with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, stress management, grief and loss, relationship issues, and trauma. I also support clients experiencing family issues, anger management, women’s issues, identity concerns, and ADHD. You deserve a space where you do not have to minimize what you are feeling or figure everything out alone. Together, we can better understand what has been weighing on you and begin building a life that feels more manageable, connected, and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

I want therapy to feel like a conversation where you can be yourself, feel genuinely heard, and work on the things that matter most to you. We will explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and relationship patterns that may be contributing to what you are going through while also identifying the strengths and resources you already have. If anxiety or stress keeps you feeling on edge, we can develop practical ways to slow things down and feel more grounded. If grief, trauma, family conflict, anger, or relationship difficulties are affecting your daily life, we can make room to understand those experiences and find healthier ways forward. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Family Focused Therapy. Rather than using one approach for everyone, we will shape our work around your experiences, needs, and goals so therapy feels relevant to your life.

What you can expect from me

You do not need to come into therapy with a perfect explanation of what is wrong or a list of goals already figured out. Our first few sessions will be about getting to know you, understanding what has been happening in your life, and identifying what you hope will feel different. We will set goals together based on what matters most to you and continue checking in on those goals as our work progresses. You can expect me to listen with compassion, ask thoughtful questions, and create a space where you can be honest about what you are experiencing without judgment. Progress might mean feeling less consumed by anxiety, coping with stress more effectively, processing grief or trauma, communicating more openly in your relationships, setting healthier boundaries, or simply feeling more confident in yourself and your decisions. We will move at a pace that feels right for you while continuing to work toward meaningful change. When you are ready, you can schedule your first session with me through Headway.
