Great to meet you!

Maybe you feel stuck. Stuck in a job that isn't going anywhere, a relationship that's stalled, or circumstances that have put your life on hold. You want to move forward, but something keeps pulling you back. For more than 9 years, I've worked with younger and middle-aged adults who feel anxious, stuck, or like they're carrying more than their share. A lot of the people I see have felt judged in the past and worried therapy would be more of the same. With me, it isn't.

My approach to therapy

Sessions with me are calm and low pressure. I'm laid back and realistic, and I meet you where you are without judgment. Some people come in motivated and ready to dig in. Others are still deciding whether they even want to be here. Both are welcome, and we'll move at a pace that fits you. I draw on motivational interviewing to help you build on your own strengths, CBT to work through anxiety and everyday stressors, and EMDR when there's trauma that still has a hold on you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is low key. There's no pressure to have the right words or to share more than you're ready to. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, what feels stuck, and what you'd like to be different. Mostly, it's a chance to see whether we're a good fit and to take a first step forward.
