Great to meet you!

I am an incredibly passionate healing professional. I find that traditional psychotherapy can be powerful for some, but creating a truly safe and affirming environment is my top goal. Our culture is full of messages of what we are "supposed" to be. I fully believe in challenging those messages to become the people we are truly meant to be. When we are our most authentic self, we are the best gift we can be to the world. I'm here to help you challenge the barriers, beliefs, and behaviors that are keeping you stuck and dissatisfied with your current circumstances. I'm gentle, but honest and want you to feel supported in your change. I don't claim to have any answers for the human condition, but I will sit with you and find our way through it. You can do hard things, and I'm here to help you!

As a mother, wife, sister, and queer woman, I have personally wrestled with issues of identity and want you to define what your best life can be for yourself. I believe "normal" is a setting on the dryer and is in no way aspirational. You are here to be you - a whole, healed, quirky, and complex person! I hope you will join me in exploring ways to be the best you that's possible! I look forward to supporting you on your healing journey to self!

My approach to therapy

I believe in an eclectic approach to therapy. In my 17 years of working with clients I have learned some pretty cool tools that can produce powerful change. I draw from my theatrical, dance, and music background as well as my CBT, DBT, Somatic and Gestalt techniques to create a truly custom approach to therapy. This is your process! Let's make it meaningful for you! No analysis paralysis here. We're gonna change things for the better!

What you can expect from me

While I cannot promise that every session will be as easy as a walk in the park - after all some days it rains or the pollen count is high - I can promise that I will do my best to ensure that the outcome of our time together is you leaving feeling empowered to make the choices and changes that are necessary to live your best life. I am here to support your hopes and encourage you that change is possible, even when it feels hard. I'm real, down to earth, and hilarious. Let's find some joy in the journey and get you back to the person you were meant to be!
