Great to meet you!

In a therapeutic relationship, it’s not “about me” - it’s about you. It’s about listening deeply. It’s about asking the right questions and holding space for precious silence. It’s about utilizing a diverse range of clinical skills and life experiences to assist you with what is happening in your life right now, and teaching you skills that will allow you to help yourself in the future.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have explored a wide variety of approaches with a focus on somatic and experiential interventions for stress, pain, trauma, addiction and healing relationships. From my deep treasure chest of therapeutic techniques I strive to “create a new therapy for each client” (following the guidance of renowned psychotherapist Irvin Yalom), helping you to discover what works best for you.

What you can expect from our first session

Just pause a moment before you go. Take a deep breath, hold it, add a big stretch, and let it go. Feel your feet, wiggle your toes. I hope that you find the help that you are needing in your life right now, and if you choose to work with me as your therapist I will be honored, and always give you my best. We cannot change the past or other people, but we can still grow and change and find ways to thrive.
