Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I’m Rebecca McCall, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I believe therapy is more than a place to manage symptoms—it is an opportunity to feel genuinely understood, explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped your life, and discover new ways of moving forward. Whether you’re navigating overwhelming emotions, life transitions, relationship challenges, or feeling disconnected from yourself, I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, respected, and empowered to grow at your own pace.

I hold a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with concentrations in Research, Diagnostics, Testing & Assessment, and Addiction Science. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My approach is integrative and individualized because every person’s story, strengths, and goals are unique. Together, we’ll develop a treatment approach that honors your values, culture, and pace of growth.

I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, complex PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), ADHD, grief and loss, relationship concerns, life transitions, identity exploration, self-esteem, postpartum mental health, women’s health, emotional regulation, chronic stress, and family dynamics.

My work is rooted in psychodynamic psychotherapy and attachment theory while integrating evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, ERP, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and meaning-centered therapy. Together, we’ll work not only to reduce distress but also to better understand the deeper emotional patterns that influence how you experience yourself, others, and the world. My goal is to help you cultivate greater self-awareness, resilience, self-compassion, and lasting, meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

As a proud ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, I believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, affirming mental health care. I am committed to providing an inclusive, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where people of all identities, backgrounds, cultures, faiths, and lived experiences are welcomed with dignity, respect, and authenticity. I believe healing is nurtured through genuine connection and the freedom to explore who you are without fear of judgment.

Whether you are facing a difficult season, healing from past experiences, strengthening your relationships, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I am committed to meeting you where you are. Together, we will build upon your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and create space for insight, healing, and meaningful growth.

Seeking support is a courageous step, and you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. It would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you build greater resilience, deepen your understanding of yourself, and create a life that feels more aligned with your values, relationships, and hopes for the future.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another in a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace, without pressure to have everything figured out or to tell your entire story all at once.

During our first meeting, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your current concerns, review relevant aspects of your personal history, and identify the goals that are most meaningful to you. I also want to understand your strengths, values, support systems, and the ways you’ve coped through life’s challenges, as these are important foundations for our work together.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we will work collaboratively to develop a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs, experiences, and goals. Depending on what feels most helpful, our work may include developing practical coping strategies, increasing self-awareness, improving emotional regulation, strengthening relationships, processing difficult experiences, or exploring long-standing patterns that may no longer serve you.

Above all, I strive to create a therapeutic relationship grounded in safety, trust, authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction for your healing journey.
