Great to meet you!

Feeling caught up in your thoughts and unsettled and anxious? Struggling with relationships and finding enjoyment in life? Overwhelmed by trying to make changes, but unsure how to proceed?

I am a guiding presence focused on getting to know you and providing tools you can use to be able to build awareness, sit with the discomfort of your thoughts and feelings, and find a path forward. I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting challenges and unfulfilling relationships.

My approach to therapy

I will help you identify your health and work from there. The things you are getting right, the routines that ground you, and the skills you already have. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. My counseling beliefs and styles are influenced by psychologist and author Tara Brach, author Kim John Payne who founded Simplicity Parenting, and principles of Waldorf Education. I am a certified yoga instructor and longtime meditator so my work is influenced by mindfulness and body based practices.

What you can expect from me

During our initial sessions we will get to know each other, clarify presenting problems, and notice health inside of you that you can use to feel greater enjoyment in life and relationships. Some things will take action and some perspective shifting.
