Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I’m honored to support you as you navigate your therapy journey and reconnect with your authentic self. I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.

My nine years of clinical experience includes conducting comprehensive assessments, providing individual and group therapy, and supervising clinicians and interns. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing substance use concerns, mood and adjustment disorders, family relationship challenges, and life transitions. I approach therapy with cultural humility and work alongside clients to identify meaningful goals that align with their values. As a first-generation American, I also provide therapy services in Spanish at an intermediate to advanced proficiency level, allowing me to support many Spanish-speaking clients in a culturally informed way.

My approach to therapy

I take a flexible, collaborative approach to therapy that is tailored to each individual's unique needs, strengths, and goals. I draw from a variety of evidence-based practices and integrate interventions based on what best supports each client. My training and experience include Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), the Matrix Model, Seeking Safety, W-TREM, and other evidence-based approaches.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you'll enter an open, accepting space where we'll explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss your experiences and goals, and determine how we can best work together. We'll also review any necessary administrative details and establish a schedule that supports your needs.
