Hi! I have a Masters in Social Work from USC and am a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have experience for over 18 years in this community with people from many backgrounds including underserved and marginalized folks of all and any abilities, genders, cultures, class status, sexuality, and beliefs. I work with clients who have anxiety, low-self esteem/self-worth, depression, relationship issues, communication difficulty, OCD, history of trauma, and marital conflict.
My collaborative style is down-to-earth and informal, yet professional. Sessions are very interactive. You'll feel accepted and be heard; I promise not to sit quietly and nod my head ; ) I use Somatic EMDR, Cognitve Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, and teach Compassionate Communication techniques as we focus on your healing and help you experience personal growth. Provide telehealth, in-person, and walk & talk (trails, walking pathways).
I love helping people deeply connect with themselves and others for meaningful relationships. Life can be difficult. We will work together to help you find solutions to the issues that concern you the most. This means we will take time to visualize how you want to feel, how you want your relationships to be, and where you want to be in life.
