Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm so glad you're here.

I graduated from Bastyr University in 2023 and am an independently licensed clinician who enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and truly any individuals who are eager and ready to understand themselves better. I strongly emphasize a client-centered, strengths-based approach as I believe that my clients are the experts of their own lives and are often more capable of change than they realize. Through the collaborative effort of creating a safe and nurturing therapeutic space, my goal is to empower my clients to find their sources of strength and utilize them to both make sense of their past and feel grounded in their present.

I have experience supporting clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, impacts of trauma, life transitions, relationship issues, ADHD, sexuality, and stress management.

My approach to therapy

As a person centered therapist, I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My job is to serve as an inquisitive and empathetic companion in your journey of self-exploration. I don’t have all the answers, and I will never pretend to! My role is not to tell you what you “should” or “should not” do, but rather to help you in understanding why you do what you do, what you want, and what is standing in your way. In line with this individualized person-centered approach, I also take on a “strengths based approach”. Oftentimes, when client’s come in they can easily tell me all of the ways they are flawed and broken, but struggle to identify or engage with their own unique sources of strength. Thus, a recurring goal in my work is to help individuals reconnect with what they are already good at and push those strengths to take the lead.

What you can expect from me

Research has consistently shown that the "therapeutic alliance" or quality of the relationship between the therapist and client is one of the most important predictors of positive treatment outcomes. Therefore, my biggest goal in our first session is to start forming a genuine connection with you, so that you can feel comfortable sharing your story and eventually getting into the weeds of it all with me.
