Rebecca Lindquist

Hello, and welcome. My name is Rebecca Lindquist, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in clinical practice. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Kansas and began my career in medical social work. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with adults and older adults in a variety of settings. I am dedicated to supporting individuals through some of life's most important and vulnerable moments. I also founded a self-care group for local social workers 6 years ago, born out of a need to keep our community healthy. By prioritizing my own self-care, I'm able to be fully present, responsive, and emotionally attuned in our work together.

My approach to working with clients is grounded in openness, respect, and genuine human connection. I strive to create a supportive environment where individuals safe to share their experiences, concerns and hopes without fear of judgement. My style is collaborative and client-centered. I often describe therapy as a dance-one where the client leads and I follow with support, insight, and encouragement. Sometimes clients are challenged in a way that promotes healing. We move at your pace.

I believe meaningful care begins with listening and building trust. My work focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where people feel heard, valued and understood. Together we will begin identifying goals and discuss how we work together moving forward.
