Great to meet you!

My practice integrates creative modalities with traditional verbal therapy for a holistic approach to healing. I have an M.S. from Pratt Institute in Dance/movement therapy and have been a practicing clinician for 12 years. In addition to my psychodynamic training at NPAP, I have continued my studies with certifications in Authentic Movement, Reiki level 1, and Tapping as these approaches align with my clinical perspective of bringing the body into the therapeutic process.

My approach to therapy

Sessions are collaborative in the sense that my clients and I both contribute to the flow of the session. Whether we are talking, touching base with our bodies via movement, body awareness, writing or mindful breath work (or a combination of all of the above!), I will start where you are and provide a supportive and intuitive container as you process your feelings. I often work with clients working through and healing from trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and life transitions

What you can expect from me

My goal is for clients to be able to work towards mental flexibility, connection with their inner experience, thoughts & feelings in compassionate & curious ways. An increased awareness of their bodies & an ability to express themselves creatively & working towards re framing old narratives, quieting the inner critic & having meaningful connections with the world & people in their lives. Goals can be helpful to create together, knowing they will be fluid as your capacity for change expands.
