Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Arizona. I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and chronic stress. I also support individuals who may not be in acute distress, but who are deeply committed to personal growth and becoming a more grounded, intentional, and fully aligned version of themselves. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2022. I began my clinical work supporting first responders who were working in high-pressure environments where stress is constant and emotional processing is often delayed or suppressed. That experience deeply shaped how I understand trauma and nervous system functioning, and it continues to influence my work today. It strengthened my focus on how chronic stress, trauma, and emotional overwhelm show up not only mentally, but also physically and neurologically.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I work from a person-centered foundation, which means I prioritize authenticity, trust, and meeting you where you are without judgment. At the same time, I integrate evidence-based modalities tailored to your needs, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. A major focus of my work is helping clients understand their nervous system in a way that is practical and usable, not just conceptual. When you begin to recognize patterns of activation, shutdown, or overwhelm, you gain the ability to self-regulate in real time. This creates more stability, flexibility, and control in how you respond to life’s challenges. I am especially passionate about helping adults move through periods of uncertainty, burnout, and emotional struggle while building a stronger internal foundation of resilience. My goal is not only symptom relief, but also helping you understand and shift the deeper patterns that keep you stuck, so that change becomes more lasting and embodied. Ultimately, my work is centered on helping you reconnect with a more grounded, intentional, and authentic version of yourself. I believe therapy is both a space for healing and a process of becoming—supporting you as you move beyond survival mode and into a life that feels more regulated, meaningful, and aligned with who you truly are.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to feel warm, relaxed, and supportive. I know starting therapy can feel intimidating or vulnerable, so my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I see the first session as a conversation, not an interrogation.

We’ll spend time talking about what’s been weighing on you, what patterns or struggles you’ve been noticing, and what you hope life could feel like moving forward. I also like to help clients begin understanding how stress, anxiety, burnout, trauma, or overwhelm may be showing up in their nervous system and everyday life. Often, just making sense of these patterns can bring a sense of relief and clarity.

My approach is collaborative, meaning we work together to figure out what feels most helpful for you. Some clients come in wanting practical tools and coping strategies right away, while others simply need a space to slow down, process, and feel heard. Both are welcome.

By the end of the first session, my hope is that you leave feeling more understood, a little more grounded, and less alone in what you’re carrying. Over time, the goal is not just symptom relief, but helping you build a stronger connection with yourself, greater emotional resilience, and a life that feels more aligned and sustainable.
