Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Rebecca, a licensed professional clinical counselor with a passion for supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University and have experience working with clients across a broad range of ages who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, grief, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, supported and empowered.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a client-led, collaborative process, where counselor and client work together to formulate and achieve the client's goals. I work with clients of all different ages who present with a variety of concerns-- anxiety, grief, depression, life transitions, and more-- and I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and respected.

My therapeutic style is gentle yet direct, and I take a holistic approach, considering the emotional, relational, physical, and contextual aspects of your experience. I take an eclectic approach, drawing from modalities like CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based practices to best support each individual. Therapy with me is about building awareness, strengthening relationships, and helping you reconnect with your strengths and values. Together, we work toward deeper self-understanding and meaningful change, supporting you in achieving your goals.

What you can expect from me

During a first session, we spend time exploring your personal history, current concerns, and what brings you to therapy. This helps me get a comprehensive understanding of your experiences and your goals so we can develop a plan that fits your needs. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what feels important, and get a sense of how we might work together moving forward.
