Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a strong foundation in compassionate, client-centered care. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2010 and my Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University in 2011.

My professional background includes experience in nonprofit organizations, program administration, medical social work, and supporting caregivers. Through these roles, I have developed a deep understanding of the emotional, practical, and systemic challenges individuals and families face while navigating healthcare, life transitions, and caregiving responsibilities.

My approach to therapy

I am especially passionate about helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and work toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive space for your care. We will review important information such as confidentiality, your rights as a client, and the therapy process, and you’ll have time to ask any questions you may have.

We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any relevant background that will help me understand your experiences and goals. You are welcome to share at your own pace—there is no pressure to tell everything in the first session.

Together, we will begin identifying what you would like to gain from therapy and discuss how we can work collaboratively toward those goals. My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and tailored to your individual needs.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel nervous. My priority is to create a safe, respectful environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered.
