Great to meet you!

You don't have to arrive here put together. Whatever you're carrying right now belongs in this space: anxiety, grief, relationship stress, a shifting sense of who you are, or something you haven't quite found words for yet. I work with adults and older adults navigating the full range of what life brings, with a particular passion for supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities and people who are questioning or deconstructing their faith. My work spans trauma, identity, women's issues, OCD, depression, and the anger or sadness that accumulates when you've been holding too much for too long.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, curious, and rooted in your strengths. That means we start from what's already true and good about you, even when it's hard to see, and build from there. I've spent more than a decade working across adoption, community mental health, and workplace settings, and what I've learned is that people heal best when they feel genuinely seen and aren't asked to perform a version of themselves that's easier to deal with. Whether you're processing trauma, working through a major life transition, sitting with a faith shift, or building skills to manage anxiety and stress, I'll always center and honor the whole of who you are. The people who tend to do their best work with me want a therapist who is honest, flexible, and fully present.

What you can expect from me

It takes something real to ask for help, and from the moment we start, you can expect to be met with warmth and without judgment. Messy, sad, fearful, angry, joyous: whatever shows up is welcome. In our first session we'll get clear on what you're hoping to accomplish and what kind of support would feel most useful. At the start of every session after that, I'll check in on how we can best use our time together, and I'll keep checking in along the way to make sure we're moving in a direction that actually feels right for you. If any of this sounds like what you've been looking for, I'd love to connect.
