Great to meet you!

I received my education and training as a clinical psychologist / therapist in Germany. I worked for 8 years in a clinic before opening my own practice in Berlin. I help people from all walks of life deal with challenging life situations by employing empathy, humor, and my clinical experience with illness. I have recently returned to the US and have opened a virtual practice in Indiana. I specialize in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma and long term stress such as caring for a loved one with a serious mental or physical health problem.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also use elements of dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness based therapy.

I enjoy helping clients tap into their inner strength to increase their resilience. I find humor and tears equally helpful and am curious to discover what helps YOU.

What you can expect from me

I am fairly structured without being rigid. We will set realistic goals together and check in every session on your progress. We move at a pace that is comfortable for you - life is stressful enough without therapy needing to add to that!
